Dr. Afroza Jesmin is Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology & Venereology and consults at HS Skin Care, Dhanmondi. Her clinical work spans medical dermatology, dermatosurgical procedures — including cryosurgery, electrosurgery, excision, nail surgery and PRP — aesthetic dermatology and laser and phototherapy.

She completed a Fellowship in Dermatosurgery at the Chennai Skin Foundation, India, and Advanced Training in Aesthetic Medicine with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She also holds a Certificate in Sexual Medicine from the South Asian School of Sexual Medicine.

Her research focuses on hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, scabies, superficial fungal infections and dermatology for underserved communities. She has presented her work at the World Congress of Dermatology and at European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology meetings, supported by several international scholarships.
